Welcome to the Finance and Administration Cabinet's Employee Web site.
The Kentucky Finance and Administration Cabinet is responsible for the construction of state facilities, property management, expenditure control, state purchasing and postal and printing services.
The Secretary of Finance provides executive policy and management for the departments and divisions of the Cabinet and serves as the chief financial officer and manager of the financial resources of the commonwealth.
The Cabinet’s Department of Revenue is the statutory agency of state government responsible for the administration and enforcement of all state revenue laws and for the assessment and collection of state taxes.
Our Commonwealth Office of Technology employees provide the leadership, policy direction and technical support to all executive branch agencies of state government in the application of information technology and the delivery of information services. Its goal is to transform the Commonwealth’s use of information technology (IT) to improve the efficiency of state government and our delivery of services.
The Office of Administrative Services is responsible for all internal administrative and human resource functions of the Finance and Administration Cabinet. These duties include administrative assistance, budget, purchasing, customer billing, payments, general accounting, personnel, payroll and asset management. The Office is composed of six divisions.
